Could've been better. I'm not a fan of the hidden kid trope so it already started low rated for me. The plot was there, but missing something and the characters weren't as developed as could be. I liked the hero and I don't think Jenna deserved him. It also ends on a cliffy, a stupid one, after a lot of action that was from her and her family versus Farelle. Which was ironic because she left him because of the danger. At the end she left because she couldn't take what happened which was even more stupid because she would be dead without Farelle and he had nothing to do with what happened.Tags : Savage (London Mob Book 1) - Kindle edition by Michelle St. James. Later Farrell founds out he has a daughter (lily) that Jenna has keep hide from him ... There world is turned upside down one more time ... But can love win out or the fear of what Farrell does ?
These are some of the best books I’ve ever read. I have spent plenty of sleepless nights getting to the end of the book. I couldn’t sleep because I had to know what happen. I have one complaint, the women got on my last nerve. The guys didn’t try to hide how they felt, yet the women, omg. Love is amazing when you find it, hold on with both hands and feet. I love these men, they are fierce, loving, protected, and so much more. You will be joining my favorite author list along side J.D. Robb. That you for the wonderful hours.
My rating 5 out of 5 stars
"Are you ready to remember Jenna?"~Farrell Black
^^^ Well...if she isn't, I damn sure am! Sigh...this book made me happy. It has everything, LITERALLY EVERYTHING, that I look for in a book.
Jenna had to make a choice. Said choice granted her the greatest of happiness and heartbreak at the same time. She made a huge sacrifice in order to start a new life, far from home but when tragedy calls her back, things get a bit messy...
Farrell Black, mob boss, with a hard body and soft heart. This character is ACES. Perfect male lead who demonstrated dominance, strength and leadership while maintaining a sense of humility and tenderness that will pull, no...YANK at your heart strings. Don't get me started on his relationship with Evan.♥
Savage never stalls out. It's smooth and seamless and while romance takes the lead, this book contains action and mystery to boot! I dug those parts too, obviously, but the ROMANCE!!! The intensity, grit and struggle...yeah, I swooned HARD. Dark and edgy...I am sold.
Savage IS a wee bit cliffy but not so much where you'll want to thrown your kindle against the wall!
Flawless.
Holy crap! This is one amazing, fast paced, action packed, spine tingling, nailbiting, adrenaline pumping, nerve racking, page turning adventures to hit my kindle in a while. Michelle totally nailed this bad boy right up front. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few glitches here and there make for one suspense filled read that grabs your attention from the start. Add in all the danger and your heart nearly stops with so much happening. There's definitely never a dull moment. The characters are well developed and believable. Their personalities are unique with qualities and traits that balance out as they play off one another perfectly. The scenes are so graphic and detailed it really pulls this little treasure together beautifully. Michelle did a phenomenal job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Great job Michelle, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.
This book drew me in from the start. I've been in a Mafia mood and I am so happy I found this book - and this series. This book was steamy and full of emotion and some action. This book does leave with a cliff hanger but it was so good I was invested from the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat and immediately into the next book.
Jenna and Farrell are written so well and I truly fell in love with them. Jenna loved and still loves Farrell. Its his job that she can't stand about him. Even when its her that puts them in danger, she can't help but think of all the other ways his job could get them all killed. Farrell thinks of nothing but how it is he can protect them. No matter the cost.
When Jenna looses her father, she has no choice but to go to the home she left behind. But when she stumbles onto things she can't explain, she has to ask the man she ran from.
Farrell Black has no idea why Jenna choose to leave all those years ago. When she left he put everything he had into his job, and it paid off. When he hears about her fathers death he tells himslef he will stay away, at least as far as he can. So when she shows up asking for help it's the last thing he expected, but he can't seem to tell her no.
This book does leave with a cliff hanger but it was so good I was invested from the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat and immediately into the next book.
This book was a 4/5 for me!
First, I hate the hidden kid aspect. Women totally suck when they do this and this one is no different. I thought she was a weak, immature and pathetic h. Second, I hate cliffhangers and serial books. I refuse to buy the rest of this story on principle alone.
BTW, The H deserves WAY better than this idiotic and weak woman.
