This is an endearing tale of love, acceptance, and finding a place of belonging, all from the points of view of lovable horses! I enjoyed the personalities and emotions conveyed. The dialogue is well done and it seems clear that the author is familiar with horses. "Moonfeather" contains vivid description and adventure interspersed between conversations that the horses have with each other. There is a glossary in the back for the terms that readers will find handy. I love the story but I am rating 4 out of 5 stars due to the absence of paragraph breaks in the ebook format. This easy fix would make a smoother read.
This short story was a pleasure to read. There was plenty of excitement and adventure--not one dull moment. It made me think about how difficult and dangerous life can be for wild horses. The writing and grammar were well done and clean of errors and offensive material.
I would feel safe to recommend this book for children and those who love to read to them. It would be a nice bedtime chapter book. (I would guess that the target age for the book is 8-12 years old.)
I couldn't put this down. A special bonus was the glossary of terms, since I don't know that much about horses. Intriguing read!
Just finished reading Moonfeather. It was very well written and easy to read. Held my attention throughout the book. Very interesting and very enjoyable book. Loved it!! I highly recommend reading this book. Can't wait to read more of this budding authors books!!! I have no doubts that this is only the beginning and we will be seeing much more of Grace Anthony!!!
