I love all of Darlene's Bible studies. But I must say that this one is my absolute favorite.... this study guide just seemed to focus me better. Just having a more specific question to answer. I truly hope that she does more in this same still. But what ever style it is they are great studies. I encourage anyone and everyone to try one. You will not regret it.
I am enjoying this study on Philippians. The way it is set up with the pictures and questions makes it easy to learn. The only problem that makes it more difficult is the bible translation that is used. I have to find an easier translation to read the verses in everytime I do a day. I think she uses some King James bible translation,which uses very difficult old english terms.
Wow! I just finished this ahead of schedule because I enjoyed it so much. I love how Darlene teaches as you read along and my favourite was the STRONG'S definitions of certain words. She has all the hard study work laid out for us. I can't wait to do more and I'm going to see if her other prior studies are the same and order them now! Thank you Darlene. Your work has been a true blessing to me.
This bible study is fantastic. I am really loving all of Darlene Schacht's products/studies and journals. I would just like to say that if you purchase the study guide from her blog you don't also need this journal. They are the same info and illustrations. But she does state that this is optional. ;)
I ordered this study to go along with Darlene's Time Warp Wife Philippians Bible study. The study group was conducted in real time on facebook and through email. It was awesome! This book is great! I loved coloring in the little birds and verse pages as a way of meditating on each day's lessons. The book starts with diving into the background of Paul-his conversion and his role in the persecution of the early church. This method of study made going into the book of Philippians more personable, because we now knew exactly the who, what, when, where, and why's of why the book was written. Each lesson delivered relevant verses and questions which allowed me to dig deeper into my understanding of the word. The only problem that I had was the version of the bible which was used within the book. I am used to NIV, NIRV, NKJV.....this study uses the KJV, which was like reading a foreign language for me. It was an easy fix. I just used my NIV bible app on my phone or used my own personal bible to ready the verses I was struggling with. Overall this is a great study, written with wisdom and I highly recommend it.

Great study guide. Walks you through digging deeper into God's Word. For those who love to color as well.plenty of opportunities.

I love Darlene Schacht bibles studies. I'm working on this one now. She makes it easy but challenging to dig deeper into Gods word. I haven't been able to stay with a Bible study before either because it was over my head or so boring.. I can understand everything plus I'm in her group on Facebook so if I feel the need I can ask questions.
